Yes, punctuation. What a difference a comma can make: “woman without her man is nothing”.
You should try reading Enclosure Awards or some old legislation. They went pages sometimes without any punctuation. Mainly (I reckon anyway) to give lawyers something to debate and argue about later on.

Friend of mine received a message from a well known, attractive young actress with whom he had a business relationship, inviting him for a curry, and sex afterwards. He never found out what she meant by it, but certainly the second part wasn't on the menu!
