Getting a Muzza 2 is asking a lot.

I expect we are looking at striker targets. But let’s be honest it’s (most likely) going to be a) someone we haven’t heard of b) good valuation / high re-sale value and c) from a non major European or South American League.

We’re not going to pluck another Glenn Murray out of thin air unfortunately.
I was just reading through this thread, and saw this quote and even though it is completely out of context and not even relevant to the thread, I think the last week or so has shown that just maybe, we have...

Looking back at the first few pages of posts when we sign him makes for some interesting reading.
Yes. @herecomesaregular has hit one particular nail on the head, though :lolol:

Mitoma is giving me tim Cahill vibes with all these headers, great leap on him.

As a Japanese person (I'm Japanese), I remember Tim Cahill's headers very well. I mean, Australia also belong to AFC (Asian Football Confederation) and Japan often play against Australia too. Cahill's headers were scary for Japanese football fans. It seems both Tim Cahill and Mitoma are 178cm. Mitoma has shown some impressive headers this season. I hope more will come this season! Edit: He used to be playing as a wing back till recently and he was not playing inside the penalty box much. So, basically, he was not given the opportunities to show his headers. Mitoma's headers might be his secret new weapons ;)

The defender is 182cm and Mitoma is 178cm.

Edit: This is one of Cahill’s headers against Japan (Japan won by 2-1). Cahill scored 50 goals for Australia and 5 of them are against Japan, including some headers.

Reportedly,
if Mitoma scores a goal or an assist tonight, he will make a new Brighton's EPL record (= the first Brighton player scoring a goal or an assist in 5 consecutive EPL games).

1 goal and 1 assist against Westham
1 assist against Leeds United
1 assist against Crystal Palace
1 goal against Brentford

I like Every Angle series.

Edit: Here is the quote of the article.
