Collymore thinks £30m should be enough for Liverpool to sign Mitoma. Going with the reasoning that because we bought him for cheap we'd let him go cheap, and that ''£30m would be too good to turn down''. Is that the same Tony Bloom that just turned down £70m for Caicedo?!

If Romano had any sources at our club, he’d know that we’re not going to be selling Mitoma or any other player to Arsenal for a very long time indeed, no matter what the bid. The phone is off the hook to that particular club.
Only till April though.

It is a bit of a concern if his contract is up in summer 25. Have we got an option for another year after that?

30 million? Try quadrupled and maybe we say yes.......or Roberto says no?

We'll be offering him a new contract soon enough. Even if we didnt and someone tried to buy him in the summer that would mean he'd still have 2 years left on his contract, long enough that we could justify a big fee. Certainly a lot more than £30m...

In a column he writes for caughtoffside.com
I remember something Richard Littlejohn wrote about Collymore once…. Still the meanest, nastiest of men…… Not Stanley.

What we paid for him is irrelevant - I don’t want us to sell any of our best players actually but I don’t really see why Mitoma is worth less than say Mudryk personally
It's a common fallacy among those who aren't aware of our set up. Upon purchasing I'm sure Bloom knew Kauro was worth more than £3m, which is why we bought him. However, now he's shown he's a huge talent in the Premier League, the amount we paid is irrelevant. If he's the best winger in the Premier League (on paper), do people think we say, "ah, well we only paid £3m for him so I guess £20m is a fair gain."

Of f***ing course not. All these pundits are f***ing stupid, stealing a living because they could once kick a ball straight.

That would be fantastic news, again!

He is a superstar. Watching on the stream, it looked like he didn't have his best game for us on Saturday but still got 2 assists effectively. According to him he needs to work on his heading yet he's scored 2 brilliant headers and now got an assist with his head too this season!

As important as Caicedo, Mac Allister, March and Estupinan etc are, Mitoma really is the difference maker for us - I know we all know it but we really do have to make the most of watching him every week, he is special.

Agreed: he was quiet by his standards on Saturday and, beyond the two assists, he also set up Mac deliciously for his chance just before HT -- normally you'd back Mac to put that chance away

Is there something different in the air that they breathe that makes Collymore (and thick oundits in general) think that a players selling price has anything to do with the price the club paid for him? It's comletely irrelevant!

By that logic, home grown player, came through their academy so they didn't pay a fee for him - so £5M then - that's a decent profit innit?

Cue tweets claiming that we're keeping Mitoma hostage and paying him slave wages (possibly not at the same time, but you never know on twitter).
