Couldn't give a f*** about the
Constructors champ anyway. The public only care about the drivers. (Though I do understand why it is important funding / sponsorship-wise.

No real surprise there. They were NEVER going to stuff up the Drivers Championship, being as its the first time its been of any interest for years.

Ferrari OWN Formula One. Bunch of Mafioso and a perfect example of corruption in Formula One. If they can't win fairly they'll win by any means possible, shame as they make beautiful cars...

Time for Hamilton and Alonso to PISS ALL OVER Ferrari for the next 4 grand Prix and they certainly have the car and drivers to do it. So Ferrari win the constructors championship but everyone knows they won it by corruption.

Why are Ferrari to blame ? If Mclaren got fined £49.2m, the size of the fine must mean they were guilty of something ?

You have a point but all litigation in Formula One seems to involve Ferrari, the findings will be publsihed tomorrow let's hope it's not just a fudge and cover up. As you say with a near 50 million pound fine they must have committed something pretty horrendous. We'll see...

Who gives a shit?

Crap sport.

No that would be cricket, baseball, basketball. American Football and synchronised swimming

Formula One is something we're pretty good at unlike any of the above at which we are just plain shit

Whether we are good at it or not has no bearing on the fact that it's a crap sport ... in fact "sport" is hardly the correct word ... guys driving fast cars and following each other round and round a circuit is hardly "sport" ... anymore than driving round the M25 would be sport.

I'd bet any F1 driver is a lot fitter than any footballer needs to be.

Absolute ******* disgrace.

Was never a big fan of Ron Dennis, but I have a lot of respect for the bloke after that press conference and the way he (and his team) has handled himself.

The FIA have no balls whatsoever.

If McLaren cheated, the drivers cannot, under any circumstances, be allowed to keep their points. Otherwise you have a complete farce. If they haven't cheated, how can they receive such a Draconian punishment?

Personally I don't believe any more "cheating" has gone on than normally goes on in the "sport".

Coughlan, Stepney, the FiA and Ferrari should be ashamed of themselves for ruining what was one of the best seasons for ages but which will now be remembered for this sorry episode.

This is bound to run and run - too many anomalies in the whole thing (including why Toyota received no punishment for the same thing last year).

A post from a ferrari forum which basically sums up my thoughts on it.
