GP wants the club to do well - worked harder and did more for this club than you ever will.

True colours shown here mate. You don't understand this club and you are irrelevant. Nearly 6000 posts in 18 months mostly putting the true fans of the club down with your patronising tone and your frankly weird obsession with GP. And here you are, again, starting yet another look-at-me thread. Regardless of GPs poor results (and I'm still on the fence, although now leaning Out) part of me wants him out so that you bog off. Might have to put you on ignore, I know you'll be devastated. Comments in bold are a poor show old chap, poor show indeed.

GP wants the club to do well - worked harder and did more for this club than you ever will. You, on the other hand, dont want Brighton to do well. Why? Simple - you would be wrong. Would your ego be able to handle that or would you just grab the bottle? I know the answer.

and just how do you know that GP has done more for the club? and on what are you basing ‘done more’ in what context?

Swansman you’re becoming a bit like an old broken record.

This. Fair play to GP for making a silk purse out of a sow's ear, career-wise. It's pure Emperor's New Clothes. There's literally nothing on his CV that makes him remotely suitable to manage an EPL club. But fair play to the boy for landing the one job - and inevitable payoff - that will provide him and his family with financial security for the rest of their lives :clap2:

I prefer the Oz version tbf, making a silk purse out of cow's c***. Also agree with your sentiment though - Potter will be sacked by Bloom and he won't get a job in the UK after, probably will return to the Swedish minnow leagues.

I think I've done more than Potter, drinking thousands of pints of Harvey's, shows great commitment. :drink:

I'm more interested in how someone can support a manager specifically, regardless of whether or not he moves between clubs. What will you do when Potter retires? Find someone else to weirdly obsess about?

Did you say the same to the other poster who constantly posted about Hughton??? He was actually and still is sucked up to by half the board, like a long lost Albion fan.

I don't see why it offends people to see a different viewpoint, is it because he does not fit your agenda?

People still follow Hughton on here, watching out for Forrest results and some and myself being one of them watch out for Jonesy results.

I bet some have gone on to forest boards, are they weird and obsessed too?

Ps, I have never gone on a Luton or Stoke Board.

Others have replied to this, so the content I'll leave alone except to say I know you follow my posts around a lot so I'm curious whether the bit in bold was a direct reference to my previous admission of being a recovering alcoholic or just a throw away line?

Maybe it was because he said "dark days"

Swansman your comments are totally bang out of order, citing what fans have or havent done as individuals, or collectively is not your jurisdication. You should consider winding your neck in somewhat, people on here by and large are a welcoming bunch, You have been largely welcomed and tolerated but insulting actual fans of the club is rightly going be piss people off with you

Many of us have done way more than you will ever know to keep the club in existence back in the dark days. Your totally out of f.ucking order calling out and BHA fans f.ucking Swedish prick.

Swansman, comments like those are going to leave you skating on very thin ice with many posters. An awful lot of fans did more for the club between the mid nineties and 2011 than any other manager possibly could now. That's not a slight on GP, just a statement of fact that the fans sacrificed more than newer generations of fans will know keeping the Albion alive.

Unless you are both "Badger Boy" it wasnt directed at you.

You are not an Albion fan though. You're a Potter fan. As a result, you don't have the clubs best interests at heart.

I think we should have a debate around whether Swansman is a good poster or not.

And still I'm one of the few who apparently doesnt see the club as some kind of product. Take the increasing numbers whispering about getting rid of TB to get more investment. I would never call those people fans .

It's really, really weird, isn't it?

I've never really understood the whole supporting an individual in a team sport; it just doesn't make sense. Furthermore, if Potter were to resign - you'd wonder how Swansman would react, I can only imagine he'd collapse under the weight of his own false sense of moral superiority.

Your imagination is poor.

Yes, devastated.

Because I'm entirely convinced the bloke it was directed at couldnt do anything for anyone.

You said someone is only in it for the money, someone says you are only in it for the booze. If you dont like the game, dont play it. If I knew or didnt know? Take your pick - whatever makes you feel like whatever you want to feel like - it changes nothing.

Agreed. Swansman if you have a problem with Brighton fans you know you can always send us long e mails rather than begin threads on NSC. I am happy to collate and pass on to Mr Barber to decide on the appropriate sanctions (on top of the mandatory long e mail reply of course).
