[Politics] Matt Hancock is a hands-on kind of man.

Boris has already exonerated him.

Time to move on.

Let's not talk this great country down.

My minister has overseen a world beating roll out of vaccines.

Under the labour party it would have been dither and wither, jabber and wabber, crumpet and bum tit (oh, sorry that's us, isn't it? I'll get my coat*)

*I made that last bit up.

'What the public really want to hear is.....'

I'm convinced a Tory minister could go on a murderous rampage and that would be the response.

So Handcock has......allegedly

Torn two families appart
Broke a covid rule he helped administer
Had a reationship with a paid advisor and should have declared the conflict of interest.

If this is proved to be true he has probably lied to his wife
Lied to the public
Lied to the serving Prime minister.

After an apology has been told to carry on the good job he was supposedly doing by his boss.

Dear oh dear.:tosser:

Well his boss lied to the Queen so that is just how the cabinet elite roll these days.

Hope it went well and whatever it was is sorted and you’re up to speed quickly.:salute:

Cheers pal. Umbilical hernia. Have to inject myself sub cutaneously with anticoagulant for the next few days. Showing off today I accidentally gave myself an IP injection, forgetting to 'pinch up' the flab, but owing to, ahem, the upper layer, the injection went straight into the body wall rather than my caecum, which was lucky I guess. Stang for a bit

And on top of all this Johnson and Hancock are responsible for thousands of unnecessary deaths through imcompetance, Johnson says he is hopeless and still he won't sack him.
As if I did not know it already, Johnson, Hancock and the rest of the cabinet are the weakest, hopeless, corrupt set of tools this country has ever had.
Still waiting for the likes of Mouldy Boots and Hastings gull to rock up and protect this shower of shite.

It really saddens me to see that the bulk of public outrage is directed at the fact that Hancock broke a rule, rather than at the fact that he has most likely irrevocably torn two families' lives apart from his affair. Adultery seems to slip past our society's anti-misogyny radar.

But given that the Prime Minister himself is a serial adulterer, he has normalised such behaviour!

I agree with you, but adultery isn’t illegal.

Neither is the main issue. If he was having a relationship with a paid advisor he should have declared the conflict of interest.

If he didn't he has broken the ministerial code and should instantly resign.

Most large companies these days would treat a bit of jiggy jiggy in the office as a serious disciplinary offence. I've seen people sacked for it.

Sacked and then takes his place on the board of the very companies he awarded the PPE contracts too. Win win

It's worked hasn't it? there is now so much shit going on without consequences that I'm starting to not be bothered by it.
I'm pretty sure that's the plan.

Yeah its weird isn't it? I'm left of centre (that might surprise you) and my Mrs is to the right. She was more outraged than me.

They know that these days there are far more people that just don't give a toss, in fact they won't even know about it, but will pick up bits and pieces through facebook or twitter and it will all be forgotten by next week as people are only concerned about going on holiday and how great Johnson has done with the (scientists/NHS) vaccine.
People just have no idea of current political affairs, its all selfish me,me,me.
It is how they got Brexit over the line, stupidity and ignorance.

Shock horror - politician [let’s call him or her John (x2), Edwina, Cecil, David, Alex, Ivan, Clive, Keith…….ad nauseam] caught playing around

It always used to be said that with labour it was money (from free Gannex macs to john Stonehouse) and with tories it was sex.

The main difference these days, now that the tories have gone down a notch or two, it's money and sex, and with labour going up a notch or two, it's Keith Vaz!

Still. Currently there is no embarrassment. That's a new low.

Lyers, multiple deaths, backhanders, serial shaggers, the cult that is Boris Johnson continues
....

And why does this fvcking swear filter always make it CULT :lolol:

At the end of the day you get what the 'majority' vote for, so I think whining after the event could be considered a little poor. This is 'exactly what we wanted and voted for', how stupid would you have to be to claim it's a surprise

What did it for Major and his MPs was the hypocrisy of scandals after the 'Back to Basics' campaign.

The lies, cheating and adultery are priced in with Johnson.

What I don't understand is the indifference shown to the corruption, have his supporters really fallen that far?
