Looked very tight, but probably the right call.

It's the right call with the current rules, you can't argue that the technology has got it wrong.

The problem is the rules were designed without technology, they need to build in some tolerance to account for decisions that didn't used to be visible to the lino.

Naked eye looked just just just off. VAR review looked a lot tighter and lines didn’t look right. Would love to see it again.

It was brought in to check all goals for offside. The offside rule is broken IMO, but the technology was definitely brought in to check for offside.

We were told it was going to be used for clearing up clear and obvious errors ie stuff like Henry’s handball vs Ireland, or Luis Garcia’s ghost goal.

That’s me out. Offside by 1cm or so.

F**K OFF VAR

Had enough of celebrating fantastic goals that get ruled out.

We’re out and I’m off.

Het used to it - gonna be a lot of false celebrations and piss taking next season. I also hate the ‘not celebrating fully’ thing!

You can't really call either goal a lob. Both headers had some power on them.

I think part of the problem is the men make it look easy to pick the ball out of the top corner because most are well over 6 feet tall. Bardsley is 5'12"

5'12'' .................. or more usually known as six foot.

Would you say that if it gave us 10 more points next season?

I hope I would. I’m not anti-VAR. I’m anti the way it’s being used. If in doubt/borderline it has to be Referee’s Call, like in cricket.

I think 'clear and obvious' errors refers to fouls. Offside is an absolute.

It wasn’t an obvious error to give that onside. No chance. It was borderline and should stay with the ref’s decision.
