Believe it or not the pitch was covered overnight - problem is that Withdean doesn't get any sun this time of year. STILL doesn't account for the fact that it apparently got worse in an hour. Really f***ing annoyed at this one - hope for the Albion's sake this is the Ref's fault - either way SHAMBLES.

TBH its pointless paying extra for something that might only get used 3 or 4 times a season, they can cover the pitch with proper covers to save that money or have a Bubble like at Wimbledon which blows hot air and thus making the pitch playable.

Just had a text from a mate. he's on a no 5 heading to Withdean, bus full of seagull fans heading to the 'game' He's not, but didn't know the game was off.

He told the driver and the driver said no worries mate it's on they inspected at 12! oops!!!
