I'll say it again in capitals,THE PITCH COVERS WENT ON NEW YEARS DAY AND CAME OFF THIS MORNING BEFORE THE REF TURNED UP.

I would also point out the covers came off at 10.30 and the bar staff turned up at 12.00,so they probably didn't see any on the pitch.

And i apologies for not reading your other post properly,something to do with half a litre of Bushmills in the system.

... they were taken off along with about 20 other stewards.

The club used 20 stewards as well as the covers to protect the pitch....

Were any of them still alive ?
