7/10 Both players and manager need to hone their skills on game management. If we get that right we wouldn't need to keep looking over our should at the relegation battle

The 5 lonely points from 8 games vs Palace, West Brom, Fulham and Sheff Utd badly derailed our season.

God, that's terrible really, isn't it. When you consider our results and performances generally against the top teams, especially

But not everyone sees the "negatives" as 0/10!

As said I didn't quite mean 0/10 I just didn't have the words.

The point I was making being the 2 performances couldn't have been more different.
Add them both together, divide by 2 and bosh 5/10!!

Had we done the double over palace, there's at least 1 bonus point.

5/10 - level par in a bizarrio season is not to be sniffed at, many a club would take that, Inc Southampton and palace, above us, although I'm sure they also think they had 7/10 seasons!


Listening to Kevin Day yesterday, he genuinely sounded crestfallen about the future:-

'9 years in this division and we have more of a rebuild than any team coming up'.

We haven't got any of that shite, and have a fantastic platform to push on from.


This season had one glaring omission.
If that's rectified and in 12 months time we finish 13th on 49 points never troubling the bottom 6, slightly less car crash loses, a couple more wins, and another smattering of 'statement' wins. (What I'm hoping for, again)
Is that a 9/10 season?

Chances are we'll be back here again as I'm giving 8/10 (because we finally got the bonus.point) while everyone is 11/10.
