My youngest, whose boyfriend is a Charlton fan, rang Charlton up and asked for two tickets for the Brighton game and without even questioning the post code or anything , sent her two tickets for the home end.
This morning, she received a letter from Charlton thanking her for buying the tickets, enclosing a free membership card giving her discount on match day tickets and priority for away tickets and two pamphlets , one for the online shop and the other for Xmas do's at the Valley ( 80's nights , Beatles tributes and Abba tributes, and offering tickets to the Charlton Christmas party for £25 each.
Now either their marketing department is very on the ball and does this for every ticket sold to non members, or they are desparate for fans.
I assume this is the sort of thing that our marketing department will be looking to do for Non season ticket holders. It looks very professional.
