THIS is what 'going Dutch' means when it comes to cycling - not some poxy 3' wide strip of 'cycle lane' painted on the road. As the video shows it takes 30 years to do properly, but is well worth it in the end.
Nobody is getting hot or sweaty - everyone is riding at a sensible pace in normal clothes. I doubt it takes less time to drive in a town like this than it takes to cycle. This set-up entirely normalises cycling as a mode of transport - it's just the most sensible way to get around, and works. I'd love it!

I dunno... I'm not against cycling and I don't drive around a pokey town all day everyday...
