When wil these journalists realise, manure aren't all that. It should have read Brighton wipe the floor with their opponents....again! Give us the rightful credit we all crave:glare:
I'd keep away from tomorrow's back pages if I were you - I've just seen most of them and the angle is very much 'this is the worst MUFC team ever', as opposed to 'Albion were victorious'. I didn't spot a single Albion player in the pictures :lolol:

I must have been distracted for a few seconds.
Please tell me what I missed?
My impression, and I admit i could be wrong, was that he didn't actually touch the ball at all?
Not once.

What happened that suggested he has boat loads of potential?
(I fervently hope he has by the way, but I clearly missed what he did to give that impression).
He definitely touched the ball; a good few times too. Looks like he likes having the ball stuck to his foot and skilfully running with it. Thought he should have shot at the end when cutting in on his left foot at the edge of the box but instead he passed it across the box where there was 3 Albion players waiting to smash it home and make it 4-1 but somehow we messed that up

for all the hype there has been about young Mainoo, he has been absolutely abysmal this season. He looked a little lost puppy out there today.
Unsurprisingly, the United philosophy to let some teenager carry the expectations of 500 million Manchester United fans burns these players fast. Its a horrible environment for young players.

Meh. We have 4th least dangerous mistakes on our own half, only City, Arsenal and Everton are better in that area. It just seems like we make more defensive errors because we don't give a shit when other teams does them.
This is a really interesting stat. It's felt to me that we're not that great at playing out from the back and that we give the ball away cheaply quite often while trying to do it. Can you link to wherever you found that stat?

Does it have the same stats for previous seasons? Maybe I'm judging it against our last few years rather than other teams.

Neither here nor there
There's one here. Well, kind of: 'How can the club and the execs sit by and watch shitty f**king clubs like Brighton and Bournemouth have their day every time they come to OT?'
Didn’t Norwich refer to us in similar terms on their forum?

Been a good week for our shitty little club.

Not so The Times including photos of the goals. The picture of Mitoma scoring is a cracking shot, how he stretched for that ball with a United players hand around his throat!

Long drive home last night, lots of traffic, but well worth the trip. Really enjoyable game. Every player working hard for 90 minutes. We seemed to have the right team selection, & good subs. Albion fans loud throughout. & 3 lovely points. Well done all 👏

Not only that but the press piled it on when he was called up for England (who called him up at the age of 18).

Yeah, but this is the physical back page. I get why they went with this angle, but pretty much every other paper did too!
