ouch ....!! I thought you did fit out work , plenty of cold water , slip slop slap , glad I stayed up for that .
I used to do fit out work, but the company I was contracted to sold out to an office fitout company.
The new owner thought his guys could do what we were doing. So the contractors were let go and everyone else sacked.
18 months later he went bust.
I was looking around for more contract work and decided to do handyman work and building maintanence till something came along. After 3 days I was busy as hell and it has been the same ever since.
I am earning very well and get the jobs done.
Never going back now and making good $$$.
Have to work in the extreme temps, like today, but I can handle it now as getting seasoned.
Mad dogs and Englishmen !

Lamptey to LB was a great sub. Diallo had been looking dangeorus with his pace off the mark all game, which Pervis struggled with. Lamptey nullified that.
Also, Pervis does commit quite high up when linking with Mitoma,so we're vulnerable to the ball over/past Perv when the oppo have fast players on the right.

Thought Old Trafford was very disappointing in terms of home atmosphere. Not that I expected much. We complain about ours, but that made the Amex seem like a riot! I remember one quiet attempt at that 'we've won the lot' chant but that was about it. I guess they didnt have much to sing about... Is it just the nature of their fan base now? Seemed to be a huge percentage of their fans were wearing half and half scarves, carrying a bag of merch around, looked more like people just visiting Manchester for the weekend rather than local fans.

I think we have the assistant referee to thank for Baleba not getting a red. From where I was standing I noticed him with his hand to his earpiece and shaking his head. I think the ref was asking him if it should be A red.

I’m trying to think of any PL ground I’ve been to recently and thought “wow, good atmosphere”. Maybe the Denis Law tributes made for a sombre mood yesterday but it was just as quiet the last time I went there. Chelsea, Man Utd, West Ham, all formerly pretty noisy, boisterous places to visit, all terrible now.

Can’t remember who said it recently but the point was made that PL grounds have essentially become football-related theme parks for visiting tourists. And I guess the game’s administrators love that because they spend £150 on plastic tat in the shop, unlike us legacy fans. Mildly depressing.

Forest next. That's always a decent atmosphere and given where they are, I'm expecting it will be better than normal. If that's shit, there's no hope

LIverpool after half time this season was as good as any ground in England albeit less said about our atmosphere that day the better.

In the main you are right though. Leicester and West Ham were borderline silent this season in the home ends. In the case of West Ham, I fail to see how that will ever get better.

It was quiet also because Man U were shite, like pretty much every home crowd in such circumstances (as well as the ridiculously high % of tourists)

Liverpool attract a lot of football tourists but the stadium still manages to generate a good atmosphere. Seems that Forest is the place to be these days. I’ve not been for a very long time but have a ticket for Saturday week. Am slightly nervous about the way the match will go but am looking forward to the experience of a match there.

Indeed. We are certainly in that count given the sheer visible volume of Japanese tourists, to the point we had to stop autographs for players post match. Crazy! Especially when you recall could always gain access to Colin Hawkins in the Sportsman car park.
