More Pep grouchiness on the BBC website:

Man City boss Pep Guardiola: "Unfortunately, we couldn't win. They had chances, but we had two clear chances with Savio [Savinho].

"We will take the point and go forward.

"This is football. We have to accept it. We have conceded a lot of goals this season and that's because of something missing."
He was more grouchy with Hooper over the Doku booking and probably several other things

Horrible to think of that. The glass half full optimist in me is going to put that down to the learning curve of a young coach and a high turnover of new players in the squad.
You can add Ipswich and Forest at home to that, both of which should have been three points.

On the other hand, we were lucky to win at Newcastle and no-one could really complain if the home games v Man U, Bournemouth and Fulham had finished as draws.

We have to be happy for the point, even if the 3 were there for taking.
I feel sorry for those Welsh sheep tonight, as they are going to be having a rough old night, and that is a given.

But let's br honest, he was ready to flash a yellow at Brighton in the first half. How it wasn't a yellow that led to our first goal is beyond me.
And when Minteh should’ve scored. He played a great advantage to let us get to that position after one of their players attempted a blatant tactical foul but never went back to book him.

Can't card someone if ref plays advantage apparently.

I was shocked when I was told this.
Seems crazy.

Yep - all balances out in the end generally. 4 points return for today and the Fulham game is probably fair, but the other way round results wise!

BBC Website:

Man City boss Pep Guardiola, speaking to BBC MOTD: "It was a good game. A tight game - I know how difficult it is to make the process which we're in now.

"The players gave everything - we take the point and we keep going.

"Of course, I have confidence and I always have. The young players played good. All the defenders were so clever.

"We were close, but unfortunately we couldn't do it."

Oh dear, what a shame, never mind.
In his post match presser he praises us a lot maybe praising Georgino a little to much for my liking although he was outstanding today. He then goes on to say he has a man crush on Potter & RDZ and Fabian’s doing well. In a way he looks like the pressure is getting to him 😁

Disappointed after the missed big chances.....

But f***ing hell, we're playing well aren't we?
Indeed Balaba looks soooo composed in real hard situations yet given such a good chance he resorted to a park player. I laughed.

He is the most talented player ever to play for the club.
