Happy with that. Good game and good performance. I suppose we may have won it, but they would possibly say the same with their header.

Some serious points taken from some good teams recently and the unbeaten run goes on.

Shows how well we are doing that if I'm being slightly picky, I'm a tad disappointed that we didn't nick a win at the etihad!
TBH if we had won today I don't think we would have nicked it, we would have deserved the win. We had a good few chances today and I will take the point and add it to our total.

To be honest, I think that’s Forest out of our reach now. But the battle for Europe from 4th-12th is very much on. 4th place is still in reach and we can certainly get close if we keep this form up.

An away draw at Citeh is a great result. But it needs backing up with home wins against the likes of Leicester and West Ham. That’s where we need to see ruthless 3 point performances.

We could have easily won it of course but also they had a free header from 5 yards. Our equaliser was a bit lucky. The ref and VAR were very quick to give them decisions. Hooper giving Mitoma a yellow then 3 identical fouls in better positions from them on us and no card. We were up against it and we came out warriors and fear nobody. I’m very, very happy with a point and our performance.

I’ve seen a few comments criticising the ref so I appreciate this is a common view, but I just don’t see it. I thought he had a decent game

Two dropped which shows how fed we have come.

Caught the tail end of the Minteh chance replay and thought he may have been offside, anyone confirm?

Important point in an euro 6 pointer

If only we hadn't thrown the points away against Wolves, Leciester and Saints at home. We would have been sitting very pretty.
Horrible to think of that. The glass half full optimist in me is going to put that down to the learning curve of a young coach and a high turnover of new players in the squad.

BBC Website:

Man City boss Pep Guardiola, speaking to BBC MOTD: "It was a good game. A tight game - I know how difficult it is to make the process which we're in now.

"The players gave everything - we take the point and we keep going.

"Of course, I have confidence and I always have. The young players played good. All the defenders were so clever.

"We were close, but unfortunately we couldn't do it."

Oh dear, what a shame, never mind.

BBC website again:

Brighton midfielder Jack Hinshelwood: "When you come to Man City it's a tough place to come. They've not been their best this season, but it is still a hard place to come.

"The run we're on we've gone into every game believing we can beat anybody. The fans have been unbelievable. If we can keep this momentum going it's going to be hard to stop us.

"Last season we had a taste of what Europe can be like. As a club we're driving to getting back to that feeling."

Seems like everyone is on the same page. But what a frustration.

First half we kept trying to play through their press, but it was a really good press, and both goals and several other chances came from it

Second half we stopped that and we were easily the best side, Doku aside who was great.

Minteh through his legs. Baleba should have taken a touch. Jack should have crossed it. Three brilliant chances to win, and admit I feel disappointed.
Doku was a beast, but his end product was poor.
