I have no qulams over the revalation that this guy turns out not to be a suicide bomber. The climate of fear that has been created since 7/7 necessitates that if people when challenged to stop by armed cops decide to leg it, vault barriers and head for the tubes then I would much prefer for the police to act and ask questions later. In this case he turns out not to be a threat, but simply put he should not have run.
