Does Townsend actually know the laws of the game?

Rooney influenced the decision i think. Kompany's foot was on the ground and he won the ball with his other foot. Nani didn't appeal at all, it was a good challenge IMO.

If United go on to win this, Sir Chris Hoy's going to get a bucketload of abuse on Twitter from City fans this evening.

Chris Foy (spellinge?) the same ref who did the Stoke vs Spurs game last month. Another example of how we have become a society which tolerates and promotes incompetence in all forms and at all levels! Why he is still refereeing is quite beyond me? Still, I am yet to see a good referee this season, so must therefore presume that there aren't any?

Both feet left the ground at the same time so a double footed tackle and a definite red card no dispute. Had that happened against CMS by Hammond for Southampton what would people be saying.

Couldnt agree more! Both feet left the ground! Easy decision IMO. (But i have only seen it once) hahaha
