as 10cc say, not in hove
"Delay" phase to be launched by government tomorrow according to reports.

That could mean school closures, encouraging home working and prohibiting large gatherings like, you know, football.

can't help but feel a little angry that our (UK) measures are behind the curve and that we while we are all (it seems) accepting of a social shutdown we seem intent on doing this "next week" re football, and school closures etc. doesn't seem at all responsible

Well good for you that you are some kind of ****ing egomaniac imbecill who dont give a shit about anyone else other than yourself.

I care about my grandpa who is 80, my dad who recently had half is lung removed, and I'm not indifferent to the thought of 20% of all 70+ dying from this shit drowning their lungs.

I dont normally go aggressive on a personal level but people with their head so far up their own ass that they dont give a **** about anyone else... psychopath shit.

Mate. Put this dingleberry on Ignore. I have had him/it on ignore for years

Ukraine : 1 case.

Has now shut down schools, limited flights and banned public gatherings over of 200 people.

It'll be interesting to see which countries responses have been the most successful once everything is analysed.

More to the point, it only takes one player or staff member to go down with it to force a good number of other teams who have had recent contact to be forced to isolate for up to two weeks. It would be farcical and I think sadly unviable.

It will happen. Maybe not us immediately, but PL teams will get first teamers or those close to them going down with it. Then as you say, quarantine.

I wonder what odds you’d get on the season finishing? Be surprised if we get much into April and the rate of growth.

I would hazard a guess that it won’t be our Govt?

That’s where mrs PW hails from, she doesn’t believe their official 1 case. Says people in her city are talking about knowing others who they think have it...l but officially it’s been just 1 for ages.

If you genuinely had one case in a country and wanted to prevent it, you’d shut the borders not lock a healthy population indoors and close all schools of healthy kids.

It’s bollox, they’re just not letting on the truth.

Because squads are going to become increasingly compromised as more and more players become infected.

Exactly.

Not to mention that top level players are effectively very expensive assets. There may even be additional insurance concerns about a player being infected.
