12 (twelve) threads about Corona virus on page 1.
I'm beginning to wonder what's spreading more rapidly?
It's been on here a few times but in case any of the "Fuss over nothing" crew are holding that line, it's worth posting again and again.
Not really Bozza
The fuss over nothing crew are either a bit thick or trolling, so nothing will make them change their postings.
Interesting though, that some of the original team fuss over nothing have now joined team concerned.
And none of team concerned have joined team fuss over nothing
Just a reminder that medium.com is a revenue sharing platform. It pays for an author to write a sensationalist piece that is viewed millions of times across the web. Not saying it's not a credible article, just.. evaluate your sources and don't panic too much while reading this.
Some of the team 'fuss over nothing' are probably realising they're got it wrong, but they're too proud to admit their stupidity, so they're still downplaying the seriousness of the virus, whilst pretending they never actually said 'fuss over nothing'.The fuss over nothing crew are either a bit thick or trolling, so nothing will make them change their postings.

Interesting snippet within bbc online live feed that in China the peak has passed so if that's the case it does give an idea where we are headed timescales wise

No offence taken
if there is some scientific master plan we're all meant to trust? Why are so many other nations closing off flights from hotspots/quarantine' zones and we're not?
Do you trust it's in our interest to have daily flights arriving from Milan with no checks at the airport?

Only if the entire population of the UK is locked up inside, forbidden from going outside and receive food dropped off to each neighbourhood periodically.
Do you think that's going to happen?
And then when the virus falls away because there has been no social interaction at all, how do things start again when you still have a whole country where almost no one has had the disease and no one has any immunity?
One question - once into a more stringent lockdown - how will we deal with the situation of people who have had the virus and want to go back out to help others/get shopping for those in quarantine? Based on the idea that it is very unlikely to contract Coronavirus twice, it would be potentially frustrating to have thousands or tens of thousands of people who are “post-Corona” having to continue isolating if they could be of more use helping those who are still having to isolate?
Agreed. Apologies if I ever appeared to be in that group. It wasn’t my intention, and I acknowledge in the early days of this situation I did think it was being slightly overblown.
I 100% don’t now. I think some element of social distancing should be commenced immediately.
