I feel so sorry for the Sussex bowlers. To bowl Notts out twice for under 500 combined should have given us a chance to win, yet it looks like being all over with a day to spare.

We didn't stand much of a chance WITH Joyce. Without him we're toast. We've made the lad Luke Wood look like Botham in this match. Shambles.

I don't think the playing surfaces are as inadequate as being described. Sussex are always involved in low scoring games because of our batflids, we're just lucky other teams 'throw-away' theirwickets too. That's very sporting of them to give us a chance.
