Well that's clearly not true is it? We are 8th, possibly 10th after games in hand have been played.

I agree though that we are not hitting last season's heights and probably won't. Just hope we're a cup team this time round!
My concern is we're not a team. Those that made last season are missing, only 2 sold, but injuries and form are taking a massive toll.

Rob spanked our Roberto tonight, how will Roberto react? He needs to, our form is looking very average now.

To the happy clappy 'perspective' brigade: I challenge you to name a worse performance from us since Hyypia was in charge. Even in the Everton 5-1 we actually played fairly well and could've won it on another day.

Credit Luton, of course, they've played us off the park, but to no resistance at all. The shit performance served up today is beyond unacceptable.
Ah well, it's only football

An Albion STH - and friend of someone on here - lost their life tonight. That's what *I* meant about perspective.

Shout, scream, swear, get battered or smash things up - it'll make fack all difference, but if it makes you feel better...

Next time maybe let someone else have your ticket if you can’t bear to watch us lose - I’m sure there are plenty of Goldstone era fans whose support isn’t contingent on Brighton winning Premier League match after match.
Hear hear.

However, it's not about losing, it's about having a f***ing clue and applying yourself. Which we didn't.

A truly awful period but I'd genuinely have that down as worse than Bournemouth/Cardiff.

We are unpredictable and yeah, shit performances can happen, but I'm shocked by the lack of desire from anyone in an Albion shirt. To come out for the second 45 after that to no change and no reaction whatsoever... Something is seriously wrong.
I didn't see Bournemouth but that second half was worrying. Actually it was insulting.

Yup.
I don't want to be dramatic, especially straight after that, but something wasn't right out there. It isn't about being outplayed or even outfought (or outthought) it's that nobody involved with the club seemed to give a shit today.
Maybe RDZ had a massive strop that we won't pay more for KDH?!

That was the point I was making about people saying he hasn’t been backed.

I think he’s done a good job for us but don’t think he’s over delivered. Personally I think Potter was really kicking us on and would have qualified for Europe last season too.
To be honest our outlay on players and wages means anything top half with cup runs is over delivering. That is the level of backing - which is fine, I’m not complaining, but our squad is nowhere near deep enough to cope with the injuries we’ve had this season, and it’s been shown recently and tonight.

Brighton factually.....
Well let’s hope our once yearly Bollox of shite show like Everton last season is now fulfilled….

on to Palace, they may fancy their chances now and come at us, RDZ may put a few rockets up their arses after that inept performance.

Yep. Budgets, spending, wages etc usually always correlate to league position..there's always the odd outlier but we are par if we finish lower mid table.
