That's amazing. The article is 10 years old, so if it works why haven't we heard more about it?
I don’t know why it’s not more publicised, unless it’s since been debunked? 🤷 It’s just somehow stuck in my head as a fact and occasionally I get to reference it. I just wish I had the foresight to use it. I mean, how difficult is it to cook a pan of pasta and put it in the fridge for the next day’s meal?

I bought three large tubs of sweets in advance of Halloween so as not to get caught out.
There is very little left and I've developed a real taste for gummy tarantulas.
I’m just waiting to discover you bought the tubs via Shein and they weren’t spider-shaped sweets.

The only answer for me is not to have this stuff in the house. I don't have the will power to ignore it.

For those that have to have it in the house (for others) it's tough to ignore it, and it's good if you have alternatives. I like pickled eggs, pre-cooked chicken, 0 fat greek yoghurt (tell me it's bad for me, I f***ing dare you).

Anyone fancy joining me in trying to lose half a stone in November? A bit of pre-Christmas discipline.

All you have to do is post your weight change on here each day in November. No need to fess up your current weight, unless you want to. Just the running total loss (or gain).

A bit of accountability and support could really help.
Im in too - my mission was to lose 5kg before the year end - am currently 79/ 80kg . This will be a good place to share . Sadly this means less beer and less cheese !! But well done " hypia " you seem to have struck a chord here

The NHS isn't very well joined up is it?

Eat healthily, here have some crisps and chocolate biscuits!
The lady who greeted me made a quip about this. “We are the only part of the nhs encouraging snacking on sugary treats” she chuckled to herself. I wondered how many times she made this comment a day and then over the last 25 years (how long she told me she had been doing a role like it).
