I don’t know why it’s not more publicised, unless it’s since been debunked? That's amazing. The article is 10 years old, so if it works why haven't we heard more about it?

I’m just waiting to discover you bought the tubs via Shein and they weren’t spider-shaped sweets.I bought three large tubs of sweets in advance of Halloween so as not to get caught out.
There is very little left and I've developed a real taste for gummy tarantulas.
The only answer for me is not to have this stuff in the house. I don't have the will power to ignore it.I bought three large tubs of sweets in advance of Halloween so as not to get caught out.

This is not the way.Just polished off a pack of chocolate digestives in readiness for tomorrow
No.So we all eat as much as we can today to start tomorrow?
I'd done really well this week then succumbed to a large twix and a pile of toast in the evening. Back on the horse today though. This is not the way.
Chicken or fish would be a healthier alternative.I'd done really well this week then succumbed to a large twix and a pile of toast in the evening. Back on the horse today though.
Im in too - my mission was to lose 5kg before the year end - am currently 79/ 80kg . This will be a good place to share . Sadly this means less beer and less cheese !! But well done " hypia " you seem to have struck a chord hereAnyone fancy joining me in trying to lose half a stone in November? A bit of pre-Christmas discipline.
All you have to do is post your weight change on here each day in November. No need to fess up your current weight, unless you want to. Just the running total loss (or gain).
A bit of accountability and support could really help.
I'll be doing that tomorrow ... with a couple of orange club biscuits being forced down me afterwards.I just gave blood and the lady at the centre forced loads of biscuits and crisps on me so diet starts tomorrow.
Pretty sure the NHS keeps clubs in production.I'll be doing that tomorrow ... with a couple of orange club biscuits being forced down me afterwards.

The lady who greeted me made a quip about this. “We are the only part of the nhs encouraging snacking on sugary treats” she chuckled to herself. I wondered how many times she made this comment a day and then over the last 25 years (how long she told me she had been doing a role like it).The NHS isn't very well joined up is it?
Eat healthily, here have some crisps and chocolate biscuits!
