They didn't play it. Went off after Head Like a Hole with 5 minutes of their slot left, and didn't come back.

Maybe Trent Reznor was pissed off about something...

Saw them at Reading. Really interesting set. No Hurt but some good new tracks mixed with some more 'obscure' older ones. He was royally pissed off with the festival organisers and Biffy Clyro (who followed them) for messing with his production apparently.

It's all on TR's Twitter. Said R/L lied about the contract. Think he was miffed about being on before BC as well. I saw them at Rock en Seine on Satdi and it was a totally different setlist.

The yoga obviously hasn't chilled him out too much.

Yeah I saw that on Twitter. Maybe it's 'roid rage!! Praying that they do some UK dates after their Us tour.

Saw them at Glastonbury. One of the most powerful bands I have seen in many years. The Guardian described the atmosphere they create as 'broken glass and sharpening knives.' Spot on, you'll enjoy them.

Indeed. Reminded me of a still young and angry Siouxsie spitting along to The Ruts playing Babylon's Burning at their peak.

And I'm old enough and lucky enough to have seen a still young and angry Siouxsie, and also The Ruts with Mal Owen playing Babylon's Burning at their peak, so I don't issue such compliments lightly.

The first of the two times I've seen them recently there was plenty of good old fashioned pushing and shoving, and so many people crowd surfing there were barely enough people left on the ground to hold them up. Great atmosphere. For a short while I felt 17 again.

I thought they kinda got lost in the big festival sound mix, they'll be deadly at C2 though. I think I fancy Beth even more than Alice Glass.

Same here. Their energy did take me back a few decades. Great to see this type of music coming along for a new generation though: power, energy, meaning. Exciting stuff.

They played a small tent (Williams Green) on Friday afternoon when I saw them and the sound was perfect, clear and sharp. Did you see them at the much bigger John Peel? And yes, she is hot...although I would not dare say this to her if I wanted to keep my 'nads intact (I think this is part of the attraction).

I saw that via the Glastonbury app!! Was pretty powerful. Seen then properly a few times and they have got better each performance. The album is worth a listen too but does not quite equate to the energy on stage. Lead singer is captivating.

No sir, France, about 20,000 people. They were great, would just be better in a club. She is hotter than an Ashoka extra chilli vindaloo.

They've cancelled their Bestival show with no real reason which I'm rather annoyed about. My only complaint with Besti is it tends to not really have enough furious rock music, they were going to fill the hole Iceage did for me last year.

I may go to this as they've just got progressively better every time I've seen them but if it's full of as many bell ends as the Alt-J show was in the same venue, same sort of time last year, it will be my time to jump off the bandwagon until they become untrendy. Top, top band though, I've got a couple of quid on them winning the Mercury from when the record was released.

Out of interest, why were the the crowd bell-ends?

When a band reaches a certain level of critical hype (they had just won the Mercury) it brings out the cultural tourists who have more interest in being pictured with their mates there than in the music being played. They think it is reasonable to;

1) Spend the whole gig recording songs on their Iphone/IPad!! obstructing other's view.

2) Wait until "their" song is played and then rudely barge through people to get to the front, to only as soon as it finishes get straight back out, no apologies.

3) Talk over the bands quiet moments (to be fair shouldn't be a problem with Savages!)

It's the usual gig complaints and normally, I'm pretty fogiving with the odd indescretion (I mean we've all been drunk at a gig before... right) it's just the sheer number of them, all at the same time does me in, which I can only ascribe to hype.
