Have just secured tickets for John Grant at the De La Warr in March. Possibly the best album of last year (although I change my mind everyday).
Just booked Speedy Ortiz @ the Green Door Store for feb 20th. Need to start booking a few more, just Midlake and Trans booked at the moment.
Make sure you catch Joanna Gruesome supporting the Speedy Ortiz show. I don't know much about the headliners but would be tempted to go on the strength of JG alone.
I contributed some words to this surrounding 10 local tips to keep an eye out for in the coming year. They'll all be playing live a fair bit locally I'd imagine.
