Really decent that. Loads of positives.
Thought Alzate and Bissouma in CM was mouth-watering. Lallana, understandably, needs a bit more fitness and sharpness but that will come.
White as steady as you'd expect. Veltman looks better than Montoya.
Bring on one or two strikers and a top half finish!

He's always had this nervous, shaky, clumsy thing about him.

Our strongest 11 was very encouraging.

Midfield looks good betwen Bissouma, Alzate, Stephens and Propper. Molumby needs another loan spell.

Three at the back looks great. White as composed as I remember him from previous pre-seasons, looks stronger now.

One major area we can improve upon but requires the big money. If we get it right I can honestly see a season where we're not looking over our shoulders forthcoming.

What? Molumby/lamptey/burn our best players in the second half.

He's very much in the Stephens mould (with a bit more energy), so you fear the boy boys, but what he does he does excellently. Very neat, very mobile, competitive, good passer, calm on the ball.
