Having watched BHAFC, Man and Boy for 36 years now I can categorically say that Liam Bridcutt is the best midfielder BHAFC have had since Brian Horton in the late 70's.

He is that good.

Bridcutt is premiership class now. He could walk into several premiership teams now.

He is worth around £ 5 000 000 at the moment.

He is BHAFC's best player.

Superb.

How would you rate him in comparison with previous BHAFC midfielders over the decades ?.

He was exceptional against Leeds. It seemed every defensive tackle regaining possession was by him. Watched the 2nd half back yesterday again and he was superb.

Brilliant player.

Got rightly bollocked by Gus after Leeds' first goal though. Although that was probably the first bad thing I've ever seen him do, or more specifically not do.

Don't forget about Danny Wilson. He was tremendous for us.
Bridcutt reminds me a lot of him.
He has just been awesome this season and I really don't think it'll be long before "bigger" clubs come sniffing.

Bridcutt will be better than Danny Wilson. Already is imo.

That was the first name that crossed my mind as well. From the early 80s onwards I'd probably put Danny Wilson ahead of him. Can't think of any others at the moment.

The ridiculously under-rated Andrew Crofts.

The principle difference is that Wilson / Bridcutt are playing in the second tier for us, and are hence (rightly) given higher status, Crofts didn't do that.

Steve Sidwell is still the best midfielder I've seen play for us. Too young for Wilson/Horton etc.

Bridcutt is coming close though...

Going to be slightly controversial here.

Don't get me wrong,I agree Liam is immense, and would be my 1 st name on temsheet.

However look closely at Leeds 1 st and 2 nd goal and I would say he was massivelyat fault for both.

The 1 st the winger managed to get around him so easily and had acres of space to pick out a cross and the 2 nd again he allowed the midfielder to come inside ridicoulously easy and get a shot away.I know he is still learning but ironing out these little issues will indeed enable him to.be premiership fottballer.

Sitting in the WSL the thing I've particularly noticed about Bridcutt this season is the amount of work he does off the ball - always making himself available for a pass. I'd love to see the stats for how far he runs each game.

I think Crofts was better than Sidwell.

Hmmmm. I kind of see where you are coming from but Sidwell was a lot more dynamic and caught the eye more. Crofts was superb for us, just think Sidwell was the better all round player.
