That's exactly what I was about to type. On paper it'd be a good move for him. Better league and European football, plus the added benefit of a move to the Albion if he performs well.

FWLIW I'd pay up for Colwill to the difference of at leasdt what MacAllister has cost us . . . . Dunk is ageing, Websters a sick note, Van Hecke is like Colwill PL ready but not yet top 6 every week . . . All 4 are a good squad!

And I believe that this is why he has gone at the price reported. I suspect that Moises would need to do another year (or two) to get that same sort of recognition from the club in terms of selling price. Of course he can still go sooner if he really wants to, but that will be reflected in the price asked

Back to Colwill, there are a good few things in our favour (as there were for Liverpool with Alexis).

Could be Mudryk loan and cash. He’s on such a long contract and had such a poor first 6 months that a season developing under a manager he already knows isn’t actually that stupid a business move. I suppose it fails if he’s cack at Brighton.

Why would the Albion want to bring in Mudryk - who plays as an inverted left-winger - when we already have Mitoma (who we'll want to elevate to a £70 mill player), AND we have Adingra who we'll need to give game time to in case the vultures swoop for Mitoma next summer, AND we have Joao Pedro who is not dissimilar to Mudryk?

We let White go for £50m and that was after 36 appearances in the PL, being a championship player of the season and being in the Euro 2020 England squad.

Colwill has potential but he is nowhere near the level White was when we sold him.

I agree. I think we've got a bit carried away with Colwill. He's a classy player but I'm not sure he's worth more than 40m., even in this marker I'm sure there are plenty of alternative options that will prevent us from being held to ransom.
