I can only assume it is when the batsman attempts to play a shot and the ball hits his pad and stops the ball from hitting the wicket, if the ball is deemed to be on route to the wicket that is. the final decision is that of the umpire. unsure of any other ruling on this.Seagull over NZ said:OK mate, explain to me in full the LBW rule please.
