Processing peoples claims and deporting those that don't qualify as refugees. Exactly how the system is supposed to work, now why didn't the Tories think of that? (or follow the guidelines of the refugee convention).

My God, if they carry on processing the backlog there won't be any need for spending millions on putting them up in 5 star luxury hotels and upsetting the hard of thinking.

Simple really, they have a resource of tax income and she has stated that taxes and borrowing will not rise. However, if there is growth then that will generate more revenue with our raising the level of taxation. Also, you can have a certain amount of income and how you chose to spend it now may well be different to how you chose to spend it in 5 years time!

It’s just amateur hour really like so much of it, to be honest I’m not particularly bothered too much about the amateur stuff.. it’s the policies that are scary. Using the wording working people- leaking the WF announcement… saying you won’t raise taxes again- then walking it back 2 days later. None of it is overly important and to be fair it’s hard to be a professional outfit when you are all new to the job. There really should be someone there in the background saying “don’t say ‘working people’ as it’s open to interpretation- change the wording”
