https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdxy1kp73y9o - Uh oh. The flame haired one has gone. The Starministas would have been screaming for a policeman if it were a Tory. They aren't all the same though are they. What's that now 8 Suspensions and a cabinet minister in 4 months ?
A cabinet minister resigns when she is shown to not have been of the highest level. I know that must be difficult to comprehend after 14 years of people not living by those standards but it is right she has.

Now look at the nodding dogs on social media claiming its the same as rayner electoral fraud (was proven not to be) starmer protecting fayed and Saville (again not correct) and reeves falsifying CV (again not correct when looking at the facts). That so many people have done this in under 40mins all using similar language on X, makes you realise how bot infested it is

They are really not all the same, bad this lot may be but they have a long way to go to be worse than the shower of shit (who went before)

Agree but after only a few months in power it seems Labour are having a bloody good go at it!

She’s obviously got this completely wrong.

Isn’t she meant to deny it ever happened when the accusations first surface, then, say it’s been taken out of context when the accusations are proved to be true, then, try to blame someone else, or say the Police are biased against her, then, admit it did happen as the Police said, but,say its really not that serious, then, after displaying her complete contempt for the general public and the rule of law, resign from her ministerial position after dragging the reputation of politicians and Parliament through the mud for a couple of weeks.

At least, that’s how it’s been done for the last 14 years.
This Labour lot are just like the Tories.

Hmmmm - She told Starmer about it in 2020 but she's only now just decided she has to resign and blames her solicitor?.

Something a bit fishy though, young lady gets mugged, believes her work phone has been stolen, turns out later that it wasn't but she already has a new phone. Switching on the old phone somehow triggered police action and she's brought in for questioning ?. Really ?, they won't come out for a bloody burglary but monitor a phone being switched on ?.

I think it's when said she advised of it when she first joined the shadow cabinet which was in 2018 under jeremy corbyn.

Did she really need to resign over this?

As same are suggesting they are all the same. This isn't anywhere near as bad as partying during lock down and the lying about it.

Hopefully though, they are learning a lesson and this is the start of labour keeping a squeaky clean cabinet.

Unlikely though 😂

We all know the Tories what the Tories were - that's why they were voted out.

We all hoped for better.

Times reporting that her employer at the time Aviva reported her to cops after she claimed multiple phones had gone ‘missing’. Fun fact, she was Policing Minister under Corbyn

On 5Live just now…

Starmer in opposition: “Law-makers can’t be law-breakers.”

Starmer when Prime Minister: appoints a criminal to his cabinet.
It's the right question to be asking and how he responds or what else comes out about this will be a defining moment of his leadership. I'm not saying it's the same but it's like the Robin Cook affair where he was famously told you either need to leave your wife or resign.

Yes we did. And as I often say, don't focus on the crime but whether there is a cover up. It's the latter that kills public trust more than the former

Agree - my point is that Starmer knew he was putting a criminal into his cabinet - shows poor judgement.

I don't think anybody is clear on who knew what and when. We know it was declared when she joined the shadow cabinet but that was under Corbyn

When you consider the multi billion pound fraud committed by the crime syndicate in charge until July it’s pretty minor. Johnson never sacked anyone.

Haig has achieved a lot so far. But, correct move from Starmer it’s not a good look. Replace and move on with the project.

Meanwhile my first great western service is cancelled again this morning. A lot to do

Agree that's it's minor and agree it's small fry when compared to the last lot - just shows poor decision making by Starmer to put her into his cabinet in the first place.

Starmer apponted her to HIS cabinet when Labour won the election in July. Are you now saying he didn't know (or she didn't tell him....)
