To be honest I don't live there so it doesn't really effect me but from what I see the poor governments you lot endure is down to the fact that you accept the shit, possibly even encourage it by voting them in again despite them shafting you.

Why do you give shit governments such long turns in f***ing you? I will never understand.

Some posh twat tells you that they won't spend any money on the shit you need because some other greedy posh twats they went to school with f***ed the economy. Do say no f*** you, and vote them out at the first opportunity?

No you thank them and sign up for more of it. You literally have the power to stop them f***ing you and you sign up for more. Then they decide they can do whatever they want and they use the fact that services are f***ed (because they told you they weren't going to fund them) and blame the largest single market on the planet, the same single market that their chums have been targeting for years.

Do you then tell them to take a running jump? No you vote them in again and vote to leave the market too. Throwing more sand in the lube.

Now when that government somehos found your bar so f***ing low it is on the ground you complain in wonderment that the twats you chose to replace them are a a bit shit.

What a situation you lot have got yourselves into. IMHO it is not an easy or quick fix but it needs the electorate to raise that bar, have higher expectations and stop adding sand to the grinding paste and then helping your governments apply it.

After everything they did for 14 years. 6.5 million of you still voted Tory. That kind of loyalty is imo exactly why you are in the situation you are in. Tugging your forlocks and begging for more sand as they keep going. And we think that Trump has cult like followers.

I have learned (too late) that dogmatic loyalty to your chosen party only serves them. f*** em, make them accountable and make them work for your vote instead of giving it to them no matter what they do.
I have a very strong sense of loyalty, but only to people who don't screw me or my family over. Politically I have voted for more than one party, I wouldn't vote labour because, I feel there whole beliefs centre around a jealousy or deep envy of anyone that has more than they do, which is just hateful. I always felt you need let people thrive and perform, otherwise you will just stagnate in a plague of zero growth and that just flattens everyone.
I find it quite amusing that most labour voters I know, only do vote for them through repetition, as deep down they have attitudes of Tories which they don't even notice. The 34% will be paying the price soon unless they drive a train.
I wonder what age they will take train drivers and well driving will they have an opportunity to use their extra 10k per year to have an online shopping spree?

That's interesting as I find most Tories I know have attitudes of labour also.

Perhaps the lie here is the division between the two parties, or sides of politics?

Division is highlighted and that on which we agree is ignored as it is less dramatic.

All part of the pup we are sold around party politics.

So if you drive a train you should never get a pay rise, no matter what the inflation rate is?

Its interesting to accuse others of being hateful and envious of people who have more than them, and then have a crack at people for getting a pay rise.

They really don't help themselves. David Goldstone (beautiful name) the new chair of the office for value for money is to be paid £950 a day but will only work 1 day a week. Great background though working on hideously overspent projects HS2, Olympics and Parliament Refurb the latter he received a £168k bonus for.

A Labour MP has been criticised after appearing to accuse Kemi Badenoch of representing “white supremacy in blackface”.
Brent MP Dawn Butler reshared a post appearing to condone comments which referred to Mrs Badenoch’s election as a “victory for racism”.

They might have honorable intentions in general but at every turn they are shooting themselves in the foot. Disgraceful comments and really shows how low the bar is for MP's in this country.

PM announces extra £75m to tackle people smugglers

Enough for Winter Fuel payment for 300,000 Senior Citizens or £250 for every single resident of Brighton & Hove?

I'd be shocked if this has any impact on anything.

"Smashing the gangs" isn't going to happen, get rid of one more will pop up, way to much money involved.

I see this racist MP has got away with it.

Still not looking good.

  • Farmers unhappy
  • Reeves CV - From Economist to Retail banker
  • More hotels used for asylum seekers than pre-election
  • Inflation rising again
Still not looking as bad.

  • Coming clean on the state of the economy
  • First step reforms to NHS including desperately needed dentistry investment and ending doctors strikes
  • First step reforms to energy sector
  • Scrapping Rwanda scheme
  • Appointment of industry experts and shift from Whitehall mandarins
  • First step of reforms to public transport and introduction of the Better Buses Bill introducing a wider roll out of bus franchising - renationalising of the railways with the introduction of the Public Ownership Bill to deliver lower costs and an integrated national train service
Minus points for badly targeted IHT reforms and badly implemented winter fuel payment changes.

(Not getting into inflationary factors but “inflation rising again” is a gross simplification of the current state of the economy
