Badenoch is polling badly and is only really attracting the blue die hards now. Both the tories and Labour will always retain a hardcore % of the vote. People are attracted to Farage because he is different to all the others and is saying something different. A lot of it may be mad, irrelevant and just hot air but perhaps compared to the established parties it’s refreshing and new to many?

Exactly what's just got Trump elected. Why does this keep happening over there and over here ?

I haven't got the answers, but have noticed that the last few years have seen the seriously rich getting richer on a scale never seen before. The ones who own social media, the press, TV channels etc.

And look what happens if anybody talks sense about trying to improve things, instead of waffling, mad irrelevant hot air and divisive shit constantly whilst their countries go down the pan.

Probably just coincidence though

1. It depends how the green policies are met.. in the real world.. we are not going to stop Russia and China and many other countries doing a lot worse.
2. In 2016 .. remain was clearly vote to stay In..1/5 on brexit was 9/2.. because of the polling .
So im say b.s.. I actually think brexit would get more!
Before you ask.. Ive never voted.
3. Trump is like marmite.. at least he's got balls and says it how it is.. where England doesn't and we will continuously get 1 million migrants in each year and because of this our retirement will go up to 70
China is the world's leader in electricity production from renewable energy sources.

Its investment dwarfs everyone else.

As for the rest, I suggest you read the opinion polls, they are all out there - in much greater detail than the simpleton question in/out (innit).

So "so im say b.s." (sic) too.

The opinion polls in 2016 were far more in favour for remain and yet brexit won..

Hence why brexit was 9/2.

Doing opinions and surveys in the South and London or anywhere are not the true outline of Britain.
Only stuck up middle class twat's do the surveys.. the normal sensible person would tell anyone to f off wanting to do a survey in a town centre.

I'm pretty sure now 2 tier kier is In power that I'm in the reckoning brexit will get at least 55 % if not 60%

Did I see you on a youtube video ?

Polls aren't conducted in town centres.

I lived in Clapham as a Baby growing up and was born in tooting..

Polling has so much better since even that poll. They don't just come to you in McDonalds and ask how you are going to vote :lolol:

You are selected even before you have the chance to...

We're also miles ahead over countries in terms on polling.

I suggest you have a look at the YouGov website.

Given some time to reflect, do you still stand by your initial feeling that it was a good budget ?
It was a necessary budget and I’d rather hit private jets and Clarkson’s tax dodge than starving kids.

If the number of families below the poverty line and using food banks is reduced under this government then that will certainly be a great achievement.

The Chagos that are 1000+ miles from Mauritius and have never historically been Mauritian territory, and Two Tier Keir is doubling the money for them to take our Sovereign and vitally important strategic territory, bowing the knee as our own pensioners freeze and NI rises due to an alleged black hole.

I think the root cause is a broken democratic system, in both countries, where the vast majority feel their vote does not count (2 or 3 states in the US choose the next president and here a government can have a huge majority with c35% of the vote).

This creates an opportunity for anyone who promises to overturn the status quo and a further opportunity for those with power to be in control and benefit from the ensuing chaos. Power has always been in the hands of those with extreme wealth and/or control of media and minds and never more so than today.

I am convinced that nothing will change for the better without PR when every vote counts and so the ordinary people can start to take back control through the ballot box. It’s will be a long way back but that’s where it starts.

According to the NHS these starving kids you reference are unlikely to be found in this country, and certainly not in the least deprived areas, however, if you’re looking for little fat f*ckers they’ll be two-a-penny.

The people starving in this country are the elderly with dementia, but they don’t make good copy like the mythical starving kids trope.

I think the £18bn is the amount we will be paying over the next 99 years to lease bits back (air base?). So not quite 'giving them £18bn to take the land away from us'.

And the negotiations have been going on for 'years', with the current process started by the tories - so it would have happened around about now under whichever government had got in.

Anyway, Trump says he might Veto it.

And the complication being

1) Most people in the country are concerned about climate change and want green policies
2) If the referendum was tomorrow, we'd clearly vote to stay in.
3) Most people in the UK dislike Trump.

The reality is (I think) is that whichever party inherited the mess was going to really really struggle.
Only 18% of people in the UK think green policies should be their top priority.

Immigration is 44%.

The last Conservative Foreign Secretary scrapped the talks.

Even if you’re right once again the prima facie optics of this issue look like Starmer is overseeing the payment of billions of pounds of British taxpayers money for an issue the vast majority of the country couldn’t care less about.

Putting this 18bn payment through the prism of ever increasing taxes and removal of WFA is another political horror show. If there is anything that even squeaks to the prospect of those involved (i.e, Starmer’s mates from his legal chambers) profiteering from this arrangement this could be catastrophic.

Time will tell.

I didn't state that. That's completely different from wanting to dump all green policies.

It's obvious immigration is an issue. Not many disagree with that, but the discussion was whether most people actually fundamentally disagree with the policies of the right wing, but polls are suggesting they would vote for them.

Another example being the NHS of course.

I've also found immigration an interesting topic when it comes to Brexit. It was clear to me that immigration would increase as a result, because that was the plan.

Whatever Farage was banging about was irrelevant, he didn't have a seat at the table.

So being anti-immigration and rejoin are not mutually exclusive anymore, because many people thought Brexit = Lower Immigration. How could it ?
