Increasingly it's just words with Knight, everyone's getting a bit fed up with his brand of bullsh*t, and if people are brave enough to question what he is actually saying it soon becomes clear that it's all a load of spin and he just cannot cut to the chase and give a straight answer.
That's what I have been saying for 18 months.
He used to be brilliant, but sadly I think he has lost touch with things. Losing Martin Perry to Falmer has taken the edge off Knight. He is abroad too often and does not have the full control that he once had, now Bloom is the largest shareholder.
However regardless of what some of us think, the same old people will churn out the words "saved us, brought us home, there wouldn't be a club, put all his money in, no one else wants to be chairman, blah blah blah,". All irrelevant, its what he is doing now that counts and whether he can still take us forward.
I completely respect Knight for what he did, but its almost for that reason that I think he should move up to the President role. He deserves to be that and walk out at Falmer, but increasingly he is not portraying the club in a good light. Sorry for all those that love him to death but thats the way more and more of us see it.
