FRUIT OF THE BLOOM
I trust the algorithm on this, assuming he’s an algorithm signing. Don’t want another dud like Dahoud.
No need to trust TB algorithm as I have seen him play on many an occasion.

Having said that the algorithm may be better than my football knowledge haha

Its hard to imagine a player more suited to our style though IMO

The Leicester guys seem very split on him. Some think he’s the Messiah. Some think he’s an entirely left footed donkey. Most think they’ll want rid as soon as they reach the PL and he won’t be good enough for them any longer anyway when they’re back in the CL positions and challenging for the PL title. (With us fighting relegation.)

There is a huge range of reactions and impressions, but I think it’s very fair to say that on average, they think £30m is about right (of course there’s the usual idiots that think their player is worth double his actual market value) but that doesn’t mean they want to sell him for that, at this point in their season with everything at stake, he is worth considerably more to them, which I can entirely accept, we’ve been there.

One thing is for sure, they don’t approve of FFP very much and strangely have a ‘fnck it’ attitude about it! I suspect there is a lot more at stake than they fully appreciate and a number of additional influences to this potential deal that they don’t fully comprehend. All of which are very legitimate.

They seem incredibly naive, borderline deluded about their status and the challenges ahead of them and the changes they need to make to their wage structure and spending. Some even think we are somehow about to be the next victim of FFP, punching above our weight, about to drop like a stone and are relegation candidates.

Why can’t other teams see the slow, gradual, consistent, cautious climb we have made?! That’s sustainability!! Teams like Leicester that over spend and punch above their weight are the ones that experience a huge fall from grace. Leicester we ain’t!!

IMO we’re the best run club in the world right now, proving success can be achieved with considered/moderate levels of spending. That may be slightly blue and white tinted, maybe, but NO ONE with any sense can realistically try to suggest the opposite!

Other club supporters refuse to see/appreciate our success because they have ZERO appreciation for where we have come from and how recent that was. They judge us because we’ve not ‘YET’ won anything haha Spend insane amounts of money and maybe we would have but I have ZERO doubt in my mind that we eventually will and unlike Leicester for example, WILL continue to challenge for years to come. I’d rather be there or there about’s consistently than win something, anything, once/twice and then plummet.

Brighton head coach Roberto De Zerbi has admitted his admiration for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall but insists he won’t talk about the Leicester midfielder because of his good relationship with Foxes boss Enzo Maresca.
Brighton are interested in signing the 25-year-old this month but Leicester are holding firm on their valuation of more than £40m. Dewsbury-Hall is also wanted by Brentford and is a key figure in Maresca’s promotion-chasing team.
“I don’t know anything about it,” said De Zerbi of Brighton’s interest at his press conference on Monday.
“I know him as a player, he has great quality. But it is not my business speaking about other players, especially in Enzo Maresca’s case. He is my friend and I want to be correct with him.”

Bit like their owners a few years back.
Don't they remember how they cheated FFP and got fined twopence halfpenny whilst making huge gains after they had got promoted to the Premier League
Would have thought they considered FFP to be the bees knees

Interesting the whole RDZ and Maresca are friends thing. Yes transfers aren't a managers thing but you'd think if you truly were mates you'd know about the likelihood of a potential transfer between the two clubs. Mates would just WhatsApp you and say 'no chance' if that was the case.
1) Maresca will have given RDZ a full lowdown on the player (even our data and scouts doesn't make up for working with someone every day).
2) There's surely something in this and I suspect it's just a case of us getting to around the £30 million mark.

Sensi signing important too. Not exactly the same positionally but you don't need two attacking playmakers and Sensi should be way too good at that level.
