Maybe yes. I'm starting to question him too. But if that's the case Gus will know it and sort it. This is a steadying of the ship season IMO and is all about enjoying life at our amazing stadium. Not saying this aimed at you [MENTION=18963]brightonseagulls1[/MENTION] but some on here seem to want everything straight away - it aint gonna happen. I doubted Barnes at times last season - he's made me look silly. I even doubted Bridcutt when he first joined (unfit in my defence) and he's made me look even more silly - Gus knows what to do. That's why he's just got the 5 yr deal.

As I said on the other thread we were playing against Chopra / Bullard / E-Thomas etc today - AWAY - f*** me if you'd told me that 2 yrs ago i'd have laughed - let alone people acting like it's an unthinkable result to lose 3-1!

No way have I lost any faith. There are a number of dodgy positions, but after just signing a new contract, I am sure Gus knows he has the dosh/contacts to sort it out. I only listened on the radio, so I won't slag Ankergren without seeing the goals. But leaking 9 goals in three games, is very poor form. However we do have to credit Ipswich, it sounded as though they are a good side with good players.

We are a work in progress, pretty well every game has been exciting, we've topped the league, we've had a decent cup run, we have a wonderful stadium and most of us are gonna be dry in the cold wet winter. OK so we have been on the end of a couple of disappointing results but we have had such a mega year that it would be greedy and unrealistic to expect it to continue without the inevitable low points of being an Albion fan..

On the subject of Casper he played well today. He made one dodgy punch when he should have caught the ball but made some very good saves.
