I disagree. We played well second half v liverpool (though didn't really test reina), played well most of the second half v leeds (but switched off late, casper made a terrible decision to hit it long, then the four players who had a chance to stop the goal did nothing), played well for the first 20 minutes v palace. The rest of our performances has shown a lack of desire, a lack of hunger to win the ball when we don't have. Defensively we have been backing off and giving our opponents time and space on the ball to pick out passes and shots.

We can play well enough to stay up, even be top 8 come april, but we have not done so for enough of the last five games. Some would argue we've not played as well as we can and got lucky with other games (blackpool we switched off second half, portsmouth missed a last minute penalty, doncaster was a struggle for most of the game, we struggled past gillingham, peterborough had enough chances and had the better of the second half)

I do agree with alot your saying maybe im just biased not sure but i think weve played the most attractive football of any team so far ( apart from liverpool ) and maybe how tired the team is has the impact of the stupid mistakes which keep happening, but if we keep playing the way we do we will hit form again, i just dont think the results neccessarly reflect the game.

We are still in a position higher than anywhere we have finished since 1982/3.

Perspective folks, do you recall the likes of Livermore, McLeod, Shane McFaul and so on in the stripes in the last five years, these are the GOOD times.

Despite how shit we have been we were 90 seconds from beating Leeds, 11 minutes from beating palace and today took the lead and should have pushed on against a team that have lots of quality.

We are being punished for stupid mistakes and lack of concentration. However a bit early to write us off entirely as we have shown glimpses of what we are capable of.

Let's not forget it was not that long ago we were all talking up this team and were on a run at the top of the league. Whilst difficult to see beyond this weeks disappointment let's keep some perspective

In his second spell, Micky Adams had us top of league one, which was higher than any position we'd finished in the couple of years preceding it. Was his run a success?
