Just been back up there to get a reciept that was forgotten for yesterdays transactions and I asked the guy how many sold and he reckon approaching 4500-5000 without 1901.

So them combined its about 7500-8000 in total.

I'm going to take a guess at around 13k-14k season tickets will be sold.

It's seems stupid that they don't know the exact figure.By the end of the each days presentation. They must have a good idea. Some of these figures that people are being told are really worlds apart.A quick look at a pc would tell you??

Of course they know the exact figure, where 'they' are the senior management team involved.

It's quite likely that 'they' don't want 'us' to know however, thus keeping us all believing there is short supply so we'd all better buy, buy, buy.

I still think it'll be well above 14,000 season ticket holders, the two main reasons for this being the local public STARVED of proper facilities for over a decade, plus the fact that monthly direct debit makes it very affordable.

The target is something like 17,000 including 1901s isn't it. I think they'll come close if they don't sell out.

Fair point but Perry was confident of selling 15k season tickets so why keep it hush hush unless of course this was part of the plan. A good tactic by the club granted.

Isn't the target c19,000, thereby leaving 1,000 for match-by-match sales, and 2,500 for the away mob.

Really? That seems optimistic to me. Even absolutely MASSIVE clubs like Norwich only have 20,000 season ticket holders (paying 11p per season each)

Do you still get to see reserve games for free if you get a season ticket at the Amex?

Maybe 'target' is the wrong word, but the maximum we could sell has to be around 19,000 given the apparent desire to have a small block in the East available for those who want to come as and when. But if the club, or their selling agents, use terms such as 'sell out season tickets' then the number sold would have to be in the region of 19,000.

I reckon 12,000-13,000 is the likely number which would be a great achievement in itself.

Norwich fans were paying 18 pound a game this season as ST holders (21k) and those prices have been frozen for the next campaign. Those prices are very good for championship football.

But how would that work for major FA cup games if the away team wants it's 15% allocation? Would some existing season tickets holders miss out or would there be no general sale tickets?

That's covered off by this block of 'match by match' seats which are in the East closest to the away/South Stand. As no season ticket holders will be there, for Cup games, they will be offered to the away club. For League games, Albion fans will be there.

No. the East Stand block which is being kept for matchday sales is the away fans overspill should they require the full allocation, no STH's need be moved. Which is good news.
