It is annoying that we don't know exactly how well they're selling but completely understand the sales techniques behind it. Actually quite looking forward to see the marketing the club come up with to boost the general sales. Reckon we'll be seeing a lot of Gus' face plastered around the towns of Sussex!

Heathfield would look good with some big billboards for sure and it would work - loads of people have been asking me re ST's...

But from the Albion's point of view, they want as many STHs as possible. It's money up front, enabling better planning. In addition, it's much better for crowd control, as you'd imagine that STHs wouldn't behave like morons if their season ticket is at risk of being revoked.
inside or outside the stadium ???

I did the same, went to my presentation 3 weeks after getting my ticket. Just take your camera for the trip to the viewing platform, and take advantage of the free tea/coffee.

Then when you go to the office to buy your ticket just say "having seen the presentation and the stadium, i dont think this is for me" and walk out the door

There were several people at my presentation who had already got their tickets and had come along for the ride - didn't hear anyone say "I don't think this is for me" though.

We weren't offered any tea or coffee - maybe they're cutting costs already.

I was there for the 3.30 today. Coffee was free but came from a vending machine.

Despite having seen so much about it, it was still fantastic to be there.

Tiger, was you the young lad who could barely remember the Goldstone?

Honestly mate?

Any news on the Burwash Minibus/Coach??

The Burwash / Heathfield coach will def be going ahead and may well be an easier route for us Northerners of Sussex. I will let you know re the next meeting...

Yeh quite a few 'Premiership' 'fans' are jumping on the bandwagon to the Amex from Heathfield... All welcome I suppose but I will constantly be reminding them of 10 rainy years for me at Withdean :)

Tun Wells
Let's add Tunbridge Wells into the mix. Right on the Sussex border and ripe for the picking.

Historically, and I'm always proud to say this, part of TW was in Sussex. Actually the lower walk of the Pantiles was the border - this is where the River Groom/Grom runs - and anyone who knows anything knows that this same river splits the village of Groombridge between the two counties.
By the way, there's plenty of Albion fans in TW, so bring on the billboards with Gus's face!

Doesn't the boundary cross the cricket ground, near the rocks? I seem to remember something about when Sussex played Kent there, they were actually playing in Sussex... Could be wrong tho!

Yes, we definitely need to reach out to these areas.
