If we sell Lynch we are simply not going to be able to afford a replacement of his calibre. Squad gets even weaker.

I can see Lynch becoming another CKR - leaves the club because of shit man management and goes on to much bigger and better things

Quite.

:clap2::clap2::thumbsup:

He's a great player and I don't get why he isn't playing, especially in a side that is underperforming.

However, it isn't like we can expect to get much for him whilst he isn't getting any games so selling him would be a massive mistake.

It's a pisstake how he's being treated

He's bringing it on himself - if he wanted out, then he ought to get on the pitch now and show another club he's remotely interesting for them to want to buy.

I don't personally think he's all that good though anyway.

Well a conversation that was overheard yesterday was that after all the Dean Wilkins being sacked business joel was not happy and wanted out - the plan was that he was going and hawkins came in to replace him - unfortunately the Joel deal fell through and this is what the problem is - wonderful bit of man management!!!

Well we can't sell him until transfer window re-opens so if he does not want to be here get him out on loan and get some value added to him

From the argus today:

Adams revealed: “The fact is that Joel Lynch reiterated his desire to leave the club, verbally and the way he did things in training, and I don’t believe he is in the right frame of mind to be playing football for Brighton at this moment.”

Think the training comment is the important bit here.. :(

Get shot.

For every good game he has had.... he has also had a shocker.

Admit he has bags of ablity, but his inconsistancy along with the fact he doesn't want to be here means we need to sell.

If we can use him to get some players we do need then will be a great bit of business by the club

Bang on. He isn't anywhere near as good as he thinks he is.

Way to knock down that price tag, Mick.

The club must do everything it can do keep Lynch. He's one of out most promising players and could be a class act. I'm baffled as to why this situation has arisen. Maybe his agent is stirring things up? Worrying times for the Albion.

Promising?? Ffs, if he hasn't fulfilled any perceived potential by now, he ain't going to turn into a world-beater in a year or two!

"Promising", is what you want from a 15 year old, not 20+.
