The only reasons for him to make another request at this stage are that a club is showing interest and he wants to move or that he and the manager don't see eye to eye.

Either way it is a sad way to lose such a fine prospect.

But if you're clearly the best defender at a club and the manager refuses to play you, what do you do? Why should such a talented player have to fight for his place at a club like ours when he could easily be playing in the division above?

Not sure if he is currently the best defender at the club. Has always had the potential to be the best def at the club, but based on last season he was frankly awful...

I hope he stays and proves people wrong, but it seems something has happened and he intends to move along

That comes from somebody who has seen him at closer quarters than any of us.

Lynch should have player in the back today with El Abd in midfield and Thompson dropped. Adams does not have enough faith in the youngsters.

Given that we didn't have skill, creativity or guile to ge past a team who played with 9 men for over an hour are you seriously suggesting we play with two defenders in the middle of our midfield? Admittedly both can tackle but both run around like headless chickens in midfield and can't pass a ball. Howi s that going to create more chances and win games.

Why is it that our managers are so piss poor that they can't get the best out of our more talented players and they end up having to leave? CKR and Lynch may have an attitude problem, as did Leon Knight, but all of them have bundles of talent and we should be building our team around players like that not trying to knock the arrogance and fire out of them.

Our squad is so short of creativity and skill at the moment that it's pitiful.
