So what ?? There is a sizeable mnority , if not a majority of northern irish catholics who wish to remain in the union.

Whether it's a minority, majority or any other interpretation of size that you come up with, he's not one of them. Do you wake up angry every day and then scour the internet for something to match your anger levels

Not wanting to turn and look at a flag which represents the country which murdered people from your town whilst the national anthem of said country is playing. Crazy stuff
living here amongst us whilst earning a fortune, hypocritical stuff.

It is not the first time he has done such a thing, really need to get your facts correct, I dont always agree with his actions but he is standing for what he believes. When at Sunderland though he did make it about him v the club which was wrong given he is not playing for us any longer as he was crap once he was found out

My facts are correct, its the first time he has carried out a deliberate calculated act like this, i know full well about the refusal to wear the poppy.

You just don't get it do you. He's paid to play football.

As with any employee he has a right to refuse to participate in actions which he does not agree with which are NOT part of his contract with said employer.

Simple really.

Same reasons as the refusal to wear a poppy. Non story. More important things to get riled up about on a Sunday morning than this.

It was not a calculated move to not wear a poppy on a shirt when the rest of the team did and he had to go out of his way to do it?

fair enough , see your point but thats a pretty passive act , this latest one wasnt, and further to your earlier post, just because 'it isnt the first time he's done this' , doesnt make it alright.

Of course it is you prize cvnt.

Clearly it is the British Governments that he has the problem with not the British people ,otherwise he wouldn't be playing for an English club in England where he interacts with and works with English people all the time. If he has a problem with English people he would have stayed in N.I. away from us all.

Clearly you are an extremely naive foolish person to believe that.

What that he works and lives with English people or the time? Or that he doesn't hate them?

You don't think that if he had a problem with English people he would go and play football somewhere else?

Why does it matter?

Out of interest, why is it that those people most stridently 'anti-pc' and willing to play the 'not my fault if you're offended, just my opinion' card are generally the most upset when something like this occurs?
