Worthing
Wonder why he hasn't been announced on the club website yet (or at least I couldn't find it). All our other comings and goings seem to have got a mention.

And many of us watched him play for the U23 s v Worthing last week (on YouTube obvs).

You’ve got very bad eyes is all I can say
If that's all you can say you might as well not say it.

I scrolled down as far as Gary Dicker joining - I thought Sarmiento signing was more recent than that, more recent than Longman's contract too, so I didn't scroll further back than that. I had of course seen the official tweet, and watched the UU23s, so knew he had officially arrived.

You also started a thread about weir when there was one already and that was on the first page so I can only assume you’ve got bad eyes

I've known Jeremy for 10 years. He grew up on a housing estate in south London since the age of 8 so he's not a fancy Dan and well aware of the need to work hard. I'm not qualified enough to judge whether he can make it at the top level in terms of skill - but in terms of attitude, focus and temperament he works very, very hard, is brave on the pitch and has the focus and ambition of Ronaldo. So mentally he will be exactly what you want in a young player. As for skill level at PL level, time will tell. I do remember him scoring a goal direct from a corner at the age of 9 or 10 and then being told it was a fluke and then he did it again in the next match to make a point. He remains a lovely young man with his feet very much on the ground.

Good post, I have no doubt the club did their due diligence as always but nice to hear he has good character. Thank you for sharing [emoji106]

You've compared him to the best player in the world in terms of focus and ambition. That is some claim. I do hope you are right.

By the seaside in West Somerset
I notice that The Guardian had him down to be in our match day squad this weekend.
Do they know something we don’t?

Not in Whitechapel
Haven’t seen him in an U23 squad yet. Is he injured?

Think it’s worth remembering this season that players could vanish off the earth for a few weeks due to Covid at any point.

Arsenal fans were convinced all week that Aubameyang and Lacazette were leaving when they weren’t in the squad v Brentford. In the end they both had Covid. Not saying that’s what has happened here but it’s going to be an option.
