You've got to admit the media/Tories done a textbook job destroying him

Corbyn was the architect of his own downfall.

Failing to deal with his anti semitic mates.

Duplicity over Brexit.
Career long EU sceptic …. a club for big business and the rich, freedom of movement hands cheap labour to capitalists.
But post Brexit vote flip flopping by the week.

Good news for all those (including Hwt) who voted For Corbyn's Labour party at the last election hoping he would be PM ... [emoji106]

Just when you thought there might be enough support to get shot of Boris’s lot, Corbyn decides to split the Labour vote and give it to Boris on a plate.

But,but, but, according to the great and good on here, no one in their right mind will vote for a Corbyn party, so it won’t make any difference.

The grey mass in the middle are equally inept. Fact.

But without the anti semitism and tunnel vision for “wealth is theft, tax the successful until they squeak”/“self fortitude, let the poor suffer”, or even worse Hitler, Chavez, Stalin, Putin, Quisling, Orban, Erdogan.

Give me a centre left or right government any day.

The most curious thing..
The prospect of a party of all the talents - a Corbyn-Farage coalition.

This thread is brilliant, let’s talk about Corbyn’s inevitably shit party rather than the illegal and insulting party the PM had in his garden over lockdown in 2020.

The labour movement cannot afford to split and all Corbyn will achieve is to take away votes and thus allow Boris to have many more years of taking the piss.....

Does anyone have a theory on why the latest Boris party was Bring Your Own?

Why not let the taxpayer pick up the drinks bill? That's what I would have done.

Think the plate currently would need to be rather big due to Boris and his team imploding. Not sure many would follow Corbyn if true into a new party

So much bile. How dare a politician attempt to oppose privatisation of public services, address the massive iniquities in society, tax the rich, build social housing, make an effort to reverse climate change, give people greater rights in the workplace, support refugees, supply wi-fi to those who need it, take the railway back into public hands, oppose the unlimited power of property developers. Let's hope his ideas die a death and we can snuggle between Boris and Starmer's visions of a continuation of greed and flag waving tripe.

What should the marginal rate of (all direct) tax be on a high earner or business owner?

It's quite staggering how utterly idiotic so many people are when you consider the vitriol and blame they direct at people who have never even held the office nor authority to put the kettle on, let alone make the tea. . .
