To suggest he is really going to make it.

NSC is quick enough to write off players after a few games, yet some keep giving Robinson the benefit of the doubt, when the stats suggest otherwise.

I've not written off anyone, but in my opinion you don't get rid of anybody who has ability to change a game, whether from the start or off the bench. Jake can do this, so therefore has done enough to stay at least.

Mendoza

NSC's Most Stalked
Robinson has 28 goals in his 130 games for the club, and people big him up so much saying he changes games etc

Dean Hammond was slated by many fans for not doing anything, yet he scored 21 goals in his 130 games for the club

But it was Hammond people are glad to see the back off

luckilly stats dont decide teams. stats dont say he has been playing in a shit team for 4 years. he look sbetter with the football we play now and i think he would continue to do so next season.

When it suits your argument, I guess.

I cannot see him being a starter next season and if that is the last year of his contract, it could be an issue for him.

stats clearly dont suit my arguement. Judging by you however many goals in over 100 games.

But he hasnt played in the most attacking of albion teams for 4-5 years. Thats fact rather than a stat. You say last year he had his chance but its not like anyone else done any good so by our standards last year he was ok. And i believe he is coming on as a player learning to play a new position after being a striker ever since he started with the albion. Im not saying he has changed the game every time he has come on.

But id say their has been progression since he has been used as mostly right midfield. Just my opinion. I dont believe that lack of goals is the biggest problem and it will take time for him to adjust.

Id just like to see us play 4-3-3 as with the players we have got as i think it would be more threatening that what we have used.

Just seems to be the right side in my opinion and would make our midfield look more comfortable IMO.

The fact is he played up front last season and went over half a season without a goal.

I do not get why you would not want Murray in the side either. Also we do not own much of that midfield, so the team is thankfully pure fantasy.

But when you say NSC, what you actually mean is people on NSC? So really no one is allowed to write off players, except you?

He doesnt in my point of view. You said at half time against leeds you wouldnt have murray on and would put jake on....(SCR)

So what has murray done since then to warrant playing. Not much.

Jake was ok against portvale and good on tues according to SCR.

But the chances are 3 or 4 of that line up will not be with us next season.

Since when are we playing for next season. You play for now and that IMO get the best of what we have got right now.

This season or next, there is no justification in leaving Murray out, in fact we should be building our team around him.

Why!! you may think hes done alright but that doesnt justify us building a team around him.

His goal return is good, he has more talent than most and he is some sort of spear head for the attack.

Where people say he should be dropped because he does not run around enough, well that cannot be justified as he scores goals. Zamora was hardly a grafter and nor was John Byrne, so would you have dropped them?
