He'll bounce back and show fans what he's capable of.

Really hope so because when he's on song he is our most exciting player along with Coxy.

He peaked too early this season and looks a little lost at the moment. He looked keen for the ball yesterday, but on numerous occassions Rehman passed it inside. I think the break will do him good and I expect his performances to lift next season. He is only 20 and attacking players tend to peak at 26/28, strikers even later, so he has plenty of time on his side.

Overhyped as a youngster, people expect far too much from him since he was tipped as the South Coast Rooney, sadly it seems he's just an ordinary run of the mill L1/L2/CON player.

The thing about Robinson is he is so nearly there. He needs to bulk up a little, stop being a tart and tweak his runs. His finishing is amazing when he is high of confidence (best at the club), he is fast and has great control. He has been around for so long it is easy to forget that a player of his statue and age would usually have a seasons or two to come through at the age he is now.

W.O.R.D. Weight training should be his priority over the summer and pre-season.

I would also get him in for an operation to have his balls manuely dropped. He might not feel the need to run off screaming like a girl when a big centre half approaches within 10 feet of him then.

He has shown he can score goals (earlier this season)... Cox and him have clearly needed a rest for a while... unfortunately, our squad does not allow that to happen... rest him next game... give Elder a chance...

He has 10 goals of which 6 came from 2 hat tricks (one against a non league side, the other against an abysmal Huddersfield). In the remaining 27 games he has managed 4 goals.

That is not showing he can score goals and certainly not on a regular enough basis to justify being called a goal scorer. If we weren't struggling to get bodies in he wouldn't be a sub, let alone in the starting 11. He isn't good enough based on this season's performance and some of his recent misses have been spectacular. Sorry but that's how I see it.

I'm quite relieved by this thread. Nutter and Dwayne have called him arrogant, and Chops has called him crap, and Kinky is getting impatient.

In keeping with how serious anyone can take those four's opinions, I confidently predict a bright footballing future for Jakey.
