Against the grain, I'd rather we'd beaten Charlton. We are comfortablely mid table and I'd rather we won something - which we had a decent chance of doing - rather than hanging on the big 6's coat tails for a possible 7th.

That said, it was a fantastic afternoon in the pub today. Much better than standing in a never ending queue at Charlton. On rail strike TV days, there is something to be said for being an armchair fan.
Are you completely head-mental? ???

Sorry, but I absolutely despise that dicking-around-at-the-back shit. Always have done, always will
That dicking around at the back shit has taken us to 9th, and right now 6th. We're currently very much on the right side of the risk-reward element. :)

Sorry, what’s the reference point here? Adam Lallana said this?

That reminds me of something RDZ said in his post match interview,. He wants us to make mistakes, what I think he meant, which was probably lost in translation a bit, is I want us to take risks. We are playing a lot more risky football at the moment, there was a great article during the world cup break about how much more of a risk we take under De Zerbi compared to Potter but the reward is there for all to see.

First time it goes wrong and costs us point(s) there will be all these after-timer Clevor Trevers falling over themselves to tell us how they always knew it would go wrong
It will go wrong, it’s the nature of the beast.

But hopefully that’ll be outweighed by more wins/goals along the way.

Far better than the non-scoring football you, others and I suffered/complained about before.

Honestly I love how we play the scariest, riskiest passing game with intent instead of passing out from the back only to pass back to the back.
It feels like we're doing it because we want to and because we can and we know we can make it work, we were never that good at it until very recently. It's pure football filth

Makes it worse IMO. Free win.

Was a good performance today. Might be brought back to earth by Arsenal but overall the game schedule looks pretty nice up until April. Hopefully the results will keep coming.
Arsenal will fall away as the season progresses, just annoying to lose Caicedo for that one.

It's not just dicking about at the back though, we're dicking about all over the place making teams look bang average and it's mostly a winning choice. With a few kittens here and there. 🙄
