I know it’s probably wrong, but I really want Potter to fail. It’s also irrational, but combined with a historical dislike of Chelsea, finishing above them would be almost as good as getting into Europe! All the more as Potter is for the moment seemingly floundering at Chelsea and they lie below us in the table.
Our record against Arsenal going back to 2018 is pretty impressive. No Jesus too. Hopefully West Ham can put them in their place later today.Meh. Personally prefer to have players suspended for those kind of probably-not-winning-games rather than good-chance-of-getting-3-points-games.
Not just fail, fail badly! Nothing irrational about it!I know it’s probably wrong, but I really want Potter to fail. It’s also irrational, but combined with a historical dislike of Chelsea, finishing above them would be almost as good as getting into Europe!

By 'all these after-timer Clevor Trevers' I assume you mean you?First time it goes wrong and costs us point(s) there will be all these after-timer Clevor Trevers falling over themselves to tell us how they always knew it would go wrong
That genuinely does still rankle with me. All the way up to Carrow Road for that evening game with a massive spring in our step, only to watch a pitiful performance because it appeared the whole team had been on the lash celebrating promotion.I'm still pissed off we didn't win the Championship.
You've reminded me of something else RDZ said soon after he joined us. I forget his exact words, but the gist was that he wants to see Solly score more goals. That reminds me of something RDZ said in his post match interview,. He wants us to make mistakes, what I think he meant, which was probably lost in translation a bit, is I want us to take risks. We are playing a lot more risky football at the moment, there was a great article during the world cup break about how much more of a risk we take under De Zerbi compared to Potter but the reward is there for all to see.
Nah. I'm more of a before-timer Clevor Trever. I can see the future. It WILL go wrong. It WILL cost us points somewhere down the line. Hopefully when it don't matter all that muchBy 'all these after-timer Clevor Trevers' I assume you mean you?
IF we do We just mightI know it’s probably wrong, but I really want Potter to fail. It’s also irrational, but combined with a historical dislike of Chelsea, finishing above them would be almost as good as getting into Europe!
I definitely don't want Potter to fail. I like him.I know it’s probably wrong, but I really want Potter to fail. It’s also irrational, but combined with a historical dislike of Chelsea, finishing above them would be almost as good as getting into Europe!

Nah f*** him. What I'm struggling to get my head around is how quickly the disappointment, and tbh gutting feeling, of losing Potter has turned completely on its head.
It genuinely feels like losing a pound and then almost immediately finding a fiver
Hoofing the ball to (most commonly) opponents would also cost points. There's no style of playing that won't cost points.Nah. I'm more of a before-timer Clevor Trever. I can see the future. Same asI'm still pissed off we didn't win the Championship.
Of course it might/probably will go wrong at some point, on the odd occasion. It's a risky strategy and taking risks will occasionally backfire. A ten year old could work that out.Nah. Yes indeed. It's an utterly fatuous line of thinkingUntil it costs us more points than it’s gaining us then anybody complaining about it is obviously very, very thick.
Dicking around at the back is just about the first thing you get taught not to do in junior school football. It's all risk, minimal reward. Not a lot has changed since junior school footballHoofing the ball to (most commonly) opponents would also cost points. There's no style of playing that won't cost points.
If you hoof the ball and their CBs win the ball and they score 20 seconds later, the just-hoof-it-strategy costs just as much as if you f*** up playing it from the back and they score 5 seconds later.Dicking around at the back is just about the first thing you get taught not to do in junior school football.
