Tremendous news. Fully deserved after all the dark days gone through. I just hope it all keeps going in the same direction.

The sun's shining. I've had a couple of bits of good news today, after a bad few weeks, but this is wonderful news. I've been following your situation for a while and I really hope you both get to enjoy so much now the weight has been lifted (however temporarily). All the best.

We got the news and the first thing that went through my head was, lets go out and celebrate - then I went oh!

Well, two days and two great bits of news - after just finding out my daughter is expecting in the New Year, my wife has today had a call from her cancer specialist.

My wife had a PET scan last week, and has been told the great news that the scan shows she is currently clear of Lymphoma!!!

There is a very small amount of residual tumour left, but the hope is that this will go with the maintenance chemotherapy she is scheduled to have over the next 18 months, they will rescan, in February, after her next two chemo sessions.

We understand that the Lymphoma will come back at some time, as it's not curable - but for the moment it is like a weight lifted, and just one less thing to worry about for now!

I can’t believe how I missed this thread, I’ve just sat and read it from start to end.

We might have had the odd petty argument on here but my opinion of you has altered completely darkwolf.

You are one top bloke, my heart goes out to you both for what you have been through, but it’s now this minute singing with joy at your great news.

It’s not all about what team you support on here.
