I am aware of Jewish clout in the US and Britain.

I don't agree that a candidate plumping for another war in that area would be universally supported - and who sincerely thinks that a war against israel would not get sympathy from others??
They may be allied with the US, but the US have problems winning wars and leaving stabilised countries afterwards.

Yeah, try to be more condescending yourself there. As for circumspect - I've lived in, worked in, and travelled through since 2003 the following countries - UAE, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Egypt, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and that's where I've physically been 75% of my time since 2003. That count for shit? I've seen Islamic countries up close and personal - the backward and the supposedly progressive. Where have you been?

If you think Israel is some terrible apartheid state then fine, crack on, but at least they don't practice apartheid against 50% of their own population like the muslims do - go and have a look at how women are treated in each and every one of those countries. I'm actually typing this in the centre of Kabul where the word is those progressive adherents of the 'religion of peace' are looking for Brit/US targets to send some daft young **** in to blow himself up, to 'celebrate' Afghanistan's independence from the British in 1919.

Sabre rattling. It certainly won't create WW3. If the West do attack Iran ( and that's a big if ) then I doubt too many other countries will come to their aid. Their main friend in the region is Syria and they're a tad busy at the moment.

Assuming it won't involve boots on the ground then western air power will deal with Iran pretty quickly.

That said I certainly wouldn't condone an attack in Iran unless Iran strike first.

I disagree, Russia is an ally of Iran. Putin is looking to consolidate Russia's influence and I do believe Russia sells weapons to Iran. Saying that, they may get involved militarily, or sit back and watch Iran stock up on their weapons...
